Individual Therapy

Depression, anxiety, trauma, health worries, grief, and difficulty coping are all common challenges that many people face at some point in their lives. It's important to remember that seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness. There are many resources available, including therapy, that can help individuals manage these issues and improve their overall well-being. If you are struggling with any of these challenges, know that you're not alone and that there is hope for a brighter future.

Sex Therapy

Kristin is an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist which means she has specialized training in order to help her clients address concerns related to sexuality, intimacy, and relationships. She provides a safe, nonjudgmental space for clients to explore their sexual concerns, whether it's addressing low sexual desire, managing differences in desire, enhancing sexual satisfaction, resolving communication barriers, migrating conflict with religion and sexuality, or addressing sexual dysfunctions. Kristin employs various therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), psychoeducation, and mindfulness practices, to assist clients in understanding their sexual needs and preferences while fostering healthier and more fulfilling sexual experiences and relationships.

Relationship Counseling

Kristin provides support to individuals and couples navigating various relationship dynamics, offering support and guidance on a range of issues. These include intimacy concerns, where she provides education, addresses libido differences, explores intimacy enhancement techniques, and promotes mindful approaches to sex, supplemented with informational resources. She also assists clients in navigating parenting challenges, offering insights into family dynamics and child development. Conflict resolution is another area of focus, where she helps individuals and couples navigate ongoing disputes that can be experienced within intimate, family, work and other important relationships.

While both mental health therapy and coaching aim to support individuals in achieving their goals and improving their well-being, therapy and coaching differ in focus, methods, required professional qualifications, and scope of practice. Therapy primarily addresses mental health concerns and emotional well-being, while coaching focuses on personal development, goal achievement, and improving relationship skills.
