About ICC

Intimate Connections Counseling is an online psychotherapy practice based in Utah, offering individual and couples therapy for adults across the state. ICC specializes in concerns related to intimacy, relationships, sexuality, identity, faith transitions, and emotional well-being. Services are provided via secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth.

The ICC Approach

At Intimate Connections Counseling, therapy is grounded in evidence-based and relational approaches that honor both personal experience and the broader contexts shaping it. Kristin integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with narrative and systems-informed perspectives, supporting clients in understanding how patterns, relationships, identity, culture, and belief systems influence emotional and relational well-being.

Therapy at ICC emphasizes meaning-making, values alignment, and personal agency, while also attending to the impact of trauma, power dynamics, and life transitions. This integrative approach allows clients to explore their experiences with curiosity and compassion, develop new ways of relating to themselves and others, and move toward lives that feel more connected, authentic, and sustainable.
